Jassim & Hamad Bin Jassim Charitable Foundation showcases humanitarian efforts at annual exhibition of civil society organisations

Jassim & Hamad Bin Jassim Charitable Foundation participated in the annual exhibition of civil society organizations, whose activities were launched under the title “Civil Society in the Service of the Family” in the Cultural Zone of Expo 2023 Doha.

Through the event, the Foundation reviewed the most prominent local and international projects that the Foundation implemented with its own capabilities, and the development impact of those projects in many countries of Asia and Africa.

These projects diversified to cover in particular the health and education sectors due to their great influence in the renaissance of needy communities and supporting them in possessing the tools for their renaissance.

Perfect Platform:

On this occasion, Managing Director of Jassim & Hamad Bin Jassim Charitable Foundation Saeed Mudakar Al Hajri stressed the importance of the Foundation’s participation in the annual exhibition of civil society organisations.

He explained that this forum is an ideal platform that reflects the role of civil society organizations in Qatar in supporting the efforts of communities and groups in need at the local and international levels and their role in achieving sustainable development by focusing on the health and education sectors.

Al Hajri said that this comes in fulfillment of the Foundation’s vision (health and education for a better life) and highlighting its pioneering role in supporting the aspirations of these communities to achieve a better life.

Sharing Experience:

For his part, Director of the Support Services Department at Jassim & Hamad Bin Jassim Charitable Foundation Fawaz Eid Al-Shammari said that the Foundation is happy to participate in the annual exhibition of civil society organisations.

He said that it is an opportunity through which the Foundation showcases its most important health and educational projects, as well as housing and relief projects that have been implemented in many countries around the world and have had a profound impact on improving the standard of living and supporting development efforts there.

Al-Shammari added that the exhibition constitutes a distinguished occasion for the meeting of various civil society organisations in Qatar, providing an ideal environment for exchanging ideas and experiences.

He said that the event aims at developing their activities and improving their performance, as well as strengthening their community presence more effectively at the local level, and strengthening their human and cultural identity at all levels.
