Jassim & Hamad Bin Jassim Charitable Foundation provided QR2,770,983 to needy people in Qatar in December 2023.
The amounts were given as monthly social assistance to needy families and paying their medical bills, school fees of their children in a number of schools operating in the country.
This monthly and continuous assistance throughout the year comes due to the great interest that Jassim & Hamad Bin Jassim Charitable Foundation gives to projects and initiatives inside Qatar, which occupy a large space on the charity’s priority map, based on its assumption of its societal responsibilities that enhance its vision of “health and education for life.”
Health and Education:
Given the importance that the Foundation attaches to the fields of health and education, which reflect the Foundation’s vision, the Foundation took the initiative to provide financial support to many institutions and associations working in the health and educational fields.
Its total value amounted to QR2,298,608, through which it supported a number of people with chronic diseases registered at Hamad General Hospital, and other forms of support that the Jassim & Hamad Bin Jassim Charitable Foundation is keen to provide with the aim of building a healthy society.
In continuation of its qualitative efforts in supporting the educational process, the Foundation, relying on its self-financing, continues to support segments of students with limited income in pursuing their educational journey.
The assistance includes paying tuition fees for students of various educational levels in private schools and community schools in addition to private universities and academies.
This is with the aim of meeting the necessary needs of this segment, which enables them to continue their educational and educational attainment without any financial obstacles to this.
Financial Assistance:
Within the framework of financial and lump sum assistance, the Jassim & Hamad Bin Jassim Charitable Foundation is adopting a flexible and effective mechanism with the aim of reaching the largest segment of needy groups within Qatar and supporting their urgent needs of all kinds. In December, the Foundation provided financial and in-kind assistance worth QR342,125.
The month of December also witnessed the provision of financial support to many civil society institutions and centers, most notably the Qatar Diabetes Association, the Aman Center, and the Qayyim Educational Center, with the total value of support reaching QR130,250.
The charitable initiatives and projects implemented by the Jassim & Hamad Bin Jassim Charitable Foundation are characterized by sustainability due to the fact that they are self-financing, and their orientations dedicate the principle of social solidarity, by ensuring continuous social assistance to needy families and sharing their financial burdens.
