According to the agreement, the Jassim and Hamad bin Jassim Charitable Foundation provided financial support to Hamad Medical Corporation worth two million Qatari riyals, as a contribution to the costs of medicine for needy patients affected by the outbreak of the Corona epidemic ( Covid-19) in Qatar.. The agreement was concluded within the framework of the efforts made and the role played by the Jassim and Hamad bin Jassim Charitable Foundation to combat the Corona pandemic.

The agreement was signed on behalf of the Jassim and Hamad bin Jassim Charitable Foundation by Mr. Saeed Mudhakir Al-Hajri, Board Member and CEO, and on behalf of the Hamad Medical Corporation by Mr. Hamad Nasser Al Khalifa, Head of Health Facilities and Facilities Development.

On this occasion, Mr. Saeed Mudhakir Al-Hajri, Member of the Board of Directors and CEO of the Foundation, confirmed that the support came based on the directives of His Excellency Sheikh Hamad bin Jassim bin Jabr Al Thani, to contribute to the costs of medicine for those in need affected by the outbreak of the Corona epidemic, and as a continuation of a series of community initiatives implemented by it. The Foundation is to confront the Corona pandemic, as a contribution to supporting the plans of the state and the health sector within the framework of the precautionary measures and precautionary measures taken by Qatar to combat and respond to the Corona virus (Covid-19), in addition to contributing to supporting the efforts of Hamad Medical Corporation and the role it plays to combat the epidemic in society.

The building consists of three floors containing 89 rooms and 48 bathrooms, 16 bathrooms per floor. It also contains 6 kitchens, 2 kitchens per floor. The building was provided with all the necessary sanitary equipment requirements for the building and was fully prepared to receive any cases that required placing them in quarantine. Support the Red Crescent initiative

He pointed out that the Jassim and Hamad bin Jassim Charitable Foundation contributed an amount of one and a half million Qatari riyals to support the Qatar Red Crescent initiative aimed at reducing the spread of the Coronavirus (Covid-19) in Qatar, which aimed to provide health and psychological services to those at risk of infection through quarantine.
