Within the framework of the Jassim and Hamad bin Jassim Charitable Foundation grant, The Qatari Committee for the Reconstruction of Gaza signed an agreement, To support the marriage of 250 young people from the Gaza Strip. The agreement stipulates that an amount of 500 thousand US dollars will be provided to the Palestinian Youth Support Fund. The project will benefit 250 young people from this initiative as a first phase. This grant aims to alleviate the suffering of young people and support their efforts in providing the costs and requirements of marriage. This aid is scheduled to be delivered to the beneficiaries who will be selected by the Palestinian Youth Support Fund and under the supervision of the Qatari Committee for the Reconstruction of Gaza.

In this context, Mr. Saeed Mudakar Al-Hajri, CEO of the Jassim and Hamad bin Jassim Charitable Foundation, confirmed: This initiative comes within the organization’s efforts to support youth groups from the Gaza Strip and provide facilities that enable them to establish their family lives in an easy manner that enhances their social and financial stability. Which would reflect positively on society as a whole. Al-Hajri added that the mechanism through which support will be provided is: It is considered a very innovative model due to its sustainability elements. The support provided within the Jassim and Hamad bin Jassim Charitable Foundation grant is a good loan. The beneficiaries of the support amount, which amounts to ($2,000), each must repay the amount in the form of easy monthly payments. This ensures that these payments are used to re-provide other good loans to new beneficiaries of young people about to get married. Thus, benefiting a larger number of Gazan youth in a sustainable manner.

Which the Foundation seeks to devote through its specific projects and initiatives in various communities that need support on the social, educational and health levels. It is worth noting that the Hamad Bin Jassim Center for Integrated Rehabilitation Care is concerned with meeting the needs and requirements of people with disabilities of all ages, especially those with cerebral palsy and multiple disabilities, in various fields of rehabilitation, care, supportive medical services, and special education in accordance with the best medical systems and modern rehabilitative methods.
