At the beginning of the meeting, Mr. Saeed Al-Hajri welcomed the Turkish Red Crescent delegation, wishing it a pleasant stay in Doha, noting the deep relations between Qatar and Turkey. Al-Hajri pointed out that the Foundation and the Turkish Red Crescent seek to strengthen fraternal ties and intensify efforts in the fields of humanitarian work to serve vulnerable groups and those in need.
Mr. Al-Hajri stressed the desire of the Jassim and Hamad bin Jassim Charitable Foundation to develop relations with all institutions working in the field of serving humanity and providing aid, especially in the fields of education and health.
The CEO of the Jassim and Hamad bin Jassim Charitable Foundation gave an explanation to the Turkish delegation, including the humanitarian and charitable projects that it has implemented or is currently being implemented inside and outside Qatar in a number of countries. The projects aim to provide services in the fields of education, health, training, and qualifying school and university students to deal with future technologies.
The delegation also briefed the Turkish Red Crescent delegation on the assistance provided by the Jassim and Hamad bin Jassim Charitable Foundation to school and university students who are unable to pay tuition fees. He also provided an explanation of the assistance received by needy families, the sick, and people with needs affiliated with a number of centers, in addition to the assistance provided by the Foundation to a number of debtors and the support of educational, pedagogical and cultural activities in the country.
Mr. Al-Hajri assured the Turkish delegation that the Foundation provides this aid based on its social responsibility and to achieve its vision of “health and education for a better life” and in an effort to provide a decent life for vulnerable social groups.
He assured the visiting delegation that the Jassim and Hamad bin Jassim Charitable Foundation pays great attention to social assistance to needy and needy families within its internal project map, as the Foundation’s Charitable Operations Department conducts an integrated and comprehensive study of cases by conducting field research carried out by an elite group of qualified social researchers in this field who conduct By collecting information about cases and studying the financial and social aspects of each case that applies for financial support. This is with the aim of financial aid reaching those who deserve it.
For its part, the Qatar Red Crescent delegation praised the humanitarian role and the educational and health projects implemented by the Jassim and Hamad bin Jassim Charitable Foundation at home and abroad. The delegation appreciated the Foundation’s keenness to enhance social solidarity, contribute to achieving sustainable development and support educational activities and events.
The delegation stressed that any charitable organization that carries out such tasks confirms that it is fulfilling its responsibility towards society.
