At the meeting, the founder, His Excellency Sheikh Hamad bin Jassim bin Jabr Al Thani, decided to reconstitute the board of directors of the Jassim and Hamad bin Jassim Charitable Foundation, where his deputy, Sheikh Nawaf bin Jassim bin Jabr Al Thani, assumed the presidency of the board of directors, succeeding His Excellency. The decision to reconstitute the Foundation’s Board of Directors came with the aim of injecting new blood and completing the projects that began during His Excellency Sheikh Hamad bin Jassim bin Jabr Al Thani’s presidency of the Board from the beginning of the Foundation’s founding in 2001 AD until 2015 AD, as the Foundation was able to complete many projects in the fields of education. Health and other vital areas .
Under the restructuring of the Board of Directors of the Jassim and Hamad Bin Jassim Charitable Foundation, His Excellency Sheikh Hamad bin Jassim bin Jabr Al Thani took the status of “founder” of the Foundation.
During the coming period, the new Board of Directors will take upon itself the issue of expanding humanitarian and charitable projects, with a focus on health and education projects, as they represent a priority for the founder and the Foundation.
The new board of directors will restructure the institution to keep pace with developments, and Qatari competencies will be taken care of so that they can make an effective contribution in the next stage.
During the new Council’s tenure, the Jassim and Hamad Bin Jassim Charitable Foundation will be keen to open horizons of cooperation with international institutions working in the humanitarian field and strengthen the joint relationship with them in order to advance the charitable work carried out by the Foundation in many countries of the world to meet the basic needs of the poor and needy groups of the population.
The doors of cooperation will also be opened with local institutions working in the same field. The Foundation will also work to support programs that serve the community and are implemented by various agencies in the country. The Jassim and Hamad bin Jassim Foundation is keen to fully coordinate with it and with others outside Qatar to achieve goodness and balance, deliver goodness and aid to everyone, and benefit from all available capabilities.

Sheikh Nawaf bin Jassim bin Jabr Al Thani holds a bachelor’s degree from the College of Administration and Economics (major in business administration) from Qatar University. He served as Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Jassim and Hamad bin Jassim Charitable Foundation since its inception in 2001.
Sheikh Nawaf began his working life from 1997 to 2003 with Qatar Airways in the financial department as aviation fuel manager. He was a member of the Arab Joint Transport Organization (ACCO) from 1997 until 2003.
He was appointed Chairman of the Board of Directors of Katara Hospitality Company (formerly Qatar National Hotels Company) from 2003 to date. Sheikh Nawaf also chaired the Board of Directors of Dhofar Tourism Company from 2006 AD until 2014 AD. He also chairs the Board of Directors of Al Hosn Investment Company, which is owned by the State of Qatar and the Sultanate of Oman. He is a member of the Board of Directors of the Raffles Fairmont International Hotel Group from 2013 to date.
Sheikh Jabr bin Youssef bin Jassim Al Thani holds a university degree in law and worked in the Ministry of Interior for 13 years. He also completed several military courses. He moved to work at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in 2000 and assumed work in the following departments with the tasks stated: Director of the Organizations and Agreements Department. As for Mr. Saeed bin Mudhakir Al-Hajri, he holds a Bachelor’s degree from the College of Administration and Economics (major in Accounting), Qatar University. He began his working life in the Qatari Armed Forces from 1986 AD until 1996 AD. From 1996 AD until 2004 AD, he worked for Kahramaa Company (formerly the Ministry of Electricity and Water) in personnel and personnel affairs. From 2004 AD until 2011 AD, Mr. Al-Hajri worked for the Al Jazeera satellite network in the financial department.. He is a member Founder of the Qatar Society of Accountants. Regarding Mr. Ishaq Ahmed Ibrahim, he holds a bachelor’s degree in law from the University of Morocco. He began his professional career in 1972 in the Ministry of Municipality and until 1980. He then worked in the legal department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and worked as a legal advisor in the Qatari Ministry of Justice until the end of 2015.
As for Mr. Abdulaziz Muhammad Jaber Abdullah Al-Sulaiti, he holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration (specialization in Marketing) from Angellica Ruskin University (Britain). He began his working life in the General Secretariat of the Council of Ministers from 2010 AD until 2013 AD…and from 2013 AD until today. Al Sulaiti worked as director of the private office of His Excellency Sheikh Hamad bin Jassim bin Jabr Al Thani.
