The Jassim and Hamad bin Jassim Charitable Foundation signed a memorandum of understanding with the Marrakesh-Safi region in the Kingdom of Morocco with the aim of establishing a number of charitable projects in the fields of health and housing.

He explained that according to the memorandum of understanding, the Foundation will build a local hospital with a capacity of (45) beds and equip it according to the technical specifications provided by the Moroccan Ministry of Health in the Sidi Youssef Ben Ali area in Marrakesh at an estimated cost of 17 million Qatari riyals (45 million Moroccan dirhams). He added that the foundation stone for the hospital will be laid on November 6, In this regard, he pointed out the Foundation’s interest in health projects, including establishing health centers, supporting mother and child care, and dialysis centers.

Al-Hajri pointed out that it was also agreed to establish a number of vocational and vocational training centers to empower young people. The CEO of the Jassim Foundation stated that there will be cooperation in various development projects. The Foundation will also commit to providing all the medical and technical equipment necessary to launch its work.

At the end of his speech, he pointed to the existing cooperation between the Jassim Foundation and the Princess Lalla Salma Foundation for the Prevention and Treatment of Cancer in order to establish a number of health projects aimed at providing health services to those in need in the regions of Marrakesh and Beni Mellal.
