In order to activate its social responsibility and in line with its objectives aimed at sponsoring and supporting educational projects and initiatives, The Jassim and Hamad bin Jassim Charitable Foundation provided financial support to Qatar Technical Secondary School for Boys with the aim of training students on the IELTS English language program and tests in order to prepare and qualify them to meet the requirements for admission to universities and complete their graduate studies.
The Foundation’s support for the project comes to achieve its vision (health and education for a better life) and with the aim of raising the level of Qatari students in the English language subject and helping them to enroll in various universities where studies depend on the English language.
Attention to the education sector
Mr. Fawaz Eid Al-Shammari, Director of the Support Services Department at the Jassim and Hamad bin Jassim Charitable Foundation, said that the Foundation, as part of its interest in the educational sector, provided support and sponsorship for many programs and activities at Qatar Technical Secondary School, where the school was provided with electronic devices and computers worth 40 thousand riyals during the month of September 2018. It was also sponsored “Adapting school training spaces” project at a cost exceeding 27 thousand riyals during June 2018.
Al-Shammari added that the Foundation is keen to promote social solidarity, contribute to achieving sustainable development and support educational and health activities and events within Qatar based on its societal responsibility and in line with its goals and mission.
The Jassim and Hamad bin Jassim Charitable Foundation is distinguished from the various agencies and institutions working in the field of charitable work in that it is self-financing as it does not accept donations, which ensures the continuity and completion of the development projects and initiatives that it implements and sponsors.
