The Jassim and Hamad Bin Jassim Charitable Foundation continues its efforts to support the activities of the Qatar Society of Certified Public Accountants. And work to support its various development programs aimed at serving Qatari accountant graduates and qualifying them to obtain various internationally accredited professional certificates. The support consists of providing a financial sum to contribute to covering the costs of qualifying a number of Qatari graduates and enabling them to achieve an effective presence in the labor market. And provide them with sufficient experience to meet its changing requirements. The support meeting witnessed the presence of Mr. Fawaz Eid Al Shammari, Director of Support Services at the Jassim and Hamad bin Jassim Charitable Foundation, Dr. Hashem Al-Sayed, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Qatar Society of Certified Public Accountants.
Supporting development activities
In this context, Mr. Fawaz Eid Al-Shammari stressed the Foundation’s keenness to support the efforts of various associations within Qatar with development activities. It aims to provide the labor market with young and active Qatari cadres with a high level of professional and academic qualifications. Which enables it to keep pace with the changing needs of the labor market, And contribute to establishing the conditions for sustainable development in order to achieve the Qatar National Vision 2030.
Al-Shammari number, The Foundation’s vision based on supporting the health and education sectors for a better life is the main reference upon which the Jassim and Hamad Bin Jassim Charitable Foundation relies in formulating and implementing its development and humanitarian initiatives and activities. In addition, the development of these two sectors is one of the most important components of a comprehensive renaissance that reflects the cultural image of any country around the world.
In the same context, the Director of Support Services indicated that social responsibility constitutes the core of the work of the Jassim and Hamad bin Jassim Charitable Foundation, which is self-financed with the aim of ensuring continuity. And supporting the work of various institutions and associations working in this regard.
Continuous cooperation
For his part, Dr. Hashem Al-Sayed appreciated the support provided by the Jassim and Hamad bin Jassim Charitable Foundation, thanking His Excellency Sheikh Nawaf bin Jassim bin Jabr Al Thani, Chairman of the Foundation’s Board of Directors, and all those responsible for it. For the continued support of the association’s initiatives, the most recent of which is the national initiative to qualify Qatari accountants to obtain an internationally accredited professional certificate for the year 2021, Pointing out that this is the fourth initiative launched by the association in cooperation with the Jassim and Hamad bin Jassim Charitable Foundation.
As Dr. Al-Sayed explained, The initiative aims to qualify 50 Qatari male and female accountants, which will enable them to obtain suitable job opportunities in the field of accounting. In line with their academic specialization, This constitutes a link between new graduates and various employers.
Al-Sayyid concluded his speech by stressing the importance of this type of development initiatives. Which would compensate for the shortage of Qatari cadres of accountants and supply the labor market with highly qualified national cadres.
