Hence the Foundation’s sponsorship of the Weyak Association project for psychological support for mothers of families with autism in Qatar, which is considered one of the pioneering awareness projects. The Foundation also sponsors a symposium organized by Weyak Association entitled (Youth with Autism Spectrum Disorder and Psychological Support).
The Jassim and Hamad Bin Jassim Charitable Foundation, within its strategic plans, development goals and social responsibility, is keen to form new partnerships and enhance cooperation with various bodies, ministries and institutions in the country to contribute to development plans, as the Foundation cooperates with its partners in charitable and development work.
For his part, His Excellency Mr. Hassan Abdullah Al-Ghanim, Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Friends of Mental Health Association (Weyak), said in his speech during the press conference that the association will hold various activities on the occasion of the celebration of World Mental Health Day under the title (Our Youth in a Changing World) with the aim of delivering awareness messages to the community with the participation of a number From health and community institutions in the country, he pointed out that Weyak will hold an integrated celebratory and awareness program in cooperation with a number of supporting and participating national institutions, led by the Jassim and Hamad bin Jassim Charitable Foundation, Qatar Charity, the National Health Care Foundation, the Daam Center, and the Qatar Autism Society. The activities will include a symposium entitled (Youth).
