The Jassim and Hamad bin Jassim Charitable Foundation provides a financial reward worth 5,000 riyals to every academically distinguished Qatari student in each semester, after nominating them and sending their names and information from Qatar University.
The quarterly rewards program for academically distinguished Qatari students aims to motivate Qatar University students to exert more effort and continue to excel in university studies, encourage the spirit of competition among them, and contribute to preparing a scientifically and academically qualified generation to participate in the process of renaissance and development that the country is witnessing in various sectors.
Supporting a university student
The cooperation agreement between the Jassim and Hamad bin Jassim Charitable Foundation and Qatar University includes the Foundation paying quarterly tuition fees for non-Qatari students with limited income through the financial aid program for incapable students (supporting a university student), where the Student Fund and Financial Aid Department at Qatar University receives student applications. Those wishing to obtain financial assistance, study it, complete the required papers, and then transfer it to the Jassim and Hamad bin Jassim Charitable Foundation, which in turn studies each case separately, makes the appropriate decision regarding it, and approves the required amounts.

The Foundation pays great attention to social assistance to needy and needy families and unable students within its internal project map, where the management of The Foundation’s charitable operations provide financial assistance to those entitled to it after conducting an integrated and comprehensive study of the cases by conducting field research carried out by a group of qualified social researchers in this field who collect information about the cases and study the financial and social aspects of each case that applies for financial support.
