The Jassim and Hamad Bin Jassim Charitable Foundation, through its various activities and initiatives, keeps pace with the essence of the humanitarian content of the concept of social responsibility, which is considered one of the vital means that establish the foundations of healthy community life and one of the components of the progress and renaissance of societies. Based on this, the Foundation formulated its vision, “Health and Education for a Better Life,” with self-financing to express its deep awareness of the importance of its role in contributing to the renaissance and progress of society in various fields, especially the health and education sectors. The Jassim and Hamad bin Jassim Foundation developed an integrated strategy that contributed to formulating a map of its goals at the local and international levels to achieve an effective presence, especially within the Qatari community. This is through its various charitable projects, where the value of community activities and initiatives, especially in the fields of health and education during the years 2019-2020, amounted to approximately 27 million Qatari riyals, benefiting about 20 thousand people.
Health projects
The Foundation’s vision based on supporting the health and education sectors is the main reference upon which it relies in formulating and implementing its development and humanitarian initiatives and activities. In addition, the development of these two sectors is one of the most important components of a comprehensive renaissance that reflects the cultural image of any country around the world. Based on this, the Jassim and Hamad bin Jassim Charitable Foundation assumed its responsibilities towards the local community within the State of Qatar, which were embodied through the implementation of many qualitative initiatives that support various efforts aimed at advancing the health and education sectors and working to support the needs of people with disabilities by building many creative partnerships with organizations. Community and a number of governmental institutions and bodies, most notably Hamad Medical Corporation and the Qatar Diabetes Association, Qatar Cancer Society, heart hospital, And other health institutions, where the Jassim and Hamad bin Jassim Charitable Foundation took the initiative to provide various forms of financial support and pay the costs of treating many needy patients. It also provided patients with chronic diseases through specialized associations with various medical tools and devices that help them monitor their health conditions, such as diabetes measuring devices. For example. The category of people with special needs also leads the Foundation’s map of local projects through the Foundation’s continued support for the Qatar Society for the Rehabilitation of People with Special Needs. Officials of the Jassim and Hamad Bin Jassim Charitable Foundation believe that this continued support and cooperation with the Association would contribute to activating the elements of qualitative support for the category of people with special needs and supporting their aspirations. Educational projects
At the level of educational projects, the Jassim and Hamad bin Jassim Charitable Foundation recognizes the prestigious position occupied by the education sector in Qatar, which tops the list of Arab countries in the global education quality index issued by the World Economic Forum in Davos. 2021, which prompted the Foundation to formulate initiatives that parallel this renaissance and keep pace with its requirements With the aim of supplying the local market with cadres with a high level of professional and academic qualifications, And keep pace with the changing needs of the labor market, Which establishes the conditions for sustainable development in order to achieve the Qatar National Vision 2030. At the forefront of these initiatives and projects is the establishment of the Hamad Bin Jassim Center for Computing Education in cooperation with Carnegie Mellon University in Qatar, which supports the annual Alice Middle East initiative, The Foundation is also keen to honor outstanding students at Qatar University and support needy students by paying tuition fees, which are made based on agreements between the Foundation and the university management. The Foundation is also keen to develop the infrastructure of many community schools and other pioneering charitable projects. The value of the support during the first quarter of the year 2021 amounted to more than 600 thousand riyals, distributed among the various educational stages, which contributed directly to alleviating the burden of need on knowledge seekers from various educational stages, which will necessarily be reflected in the level of their academic achievement and the advancement of their cultural and scientific knowledge to be true partners. Development initiatives

The Foundation was also keen to sponsor the Second Youth Reader Forum, which was organized by the Children’s Literature Center, the first center in Qatar and the Middle East concerned with training in the field of children’s literature, which was held under the umbrella of the Ministry of Education and Higher Education.
